Bollard protected bike lanes
There is currently one section of bollard protected bike lanes in Bend. It’s part of the newly rebuilt Wilson St from 9th to 15th and is using DuraCurb.
Wilson is planned to continue this bike lane style all the way to 2nd St, with construction finishing in 2024.
This bollard protected bike lane is basically a buffered bike lane with DuraCurb added in between the two white lines.
All the same bike lane rules apply, now there is just a bit of a barrier between cars and bikes.
