Welcome to the Bend Bikes bike map for Bend, Oregon! It shows the various paths and biking streets in the city of Bend, and displays them based on rider comfort required to ride on them.

As a largely volunteer-run organization, this map is the culmination of hundreds of hours of volunteer time riding every corner of Bend, scrutinizing base layer map data, and having a lot of discussions about what this bike map should look like. Bend Bikes’ hope for this map is to allow all people who ride bikes to find ways to get across town on streets that feel comfortable for them. We also see this map as a tool to help us advocate to fill in the gaps in the infrastructure for people who bike. For those who want to know more about our approach to developing this map, check out the nitty gritty details!

In

In 2026 the map underwent a fairly extensive update with dozens of new trails, off street paths and streets sections added. This time around, we did not ride every single one of the new routes but relied on the knowledge and expert judgement of a team of volunteers to classify them into difficulty/stress levels. This map is a work in progress and we know it is far from perfect. We will continue to iteratively update it and could use your help!

Did we miss a great route? Did we misclassify a route? Did we do a great job on a particular part or was something particularly helpful on the map? Please give us feedback using this short feedback form!
