Whether you’re cruising in from Northwest Crossing, cutting across town from the Eastside, or gliding down the Deschutes River Trail, these low-stress routes deliver you right to the grass where you will find ample bike parking. A family-friendly route connecting Northwest Crossing to Downtown. Riders roll down the West Bend multi-use path, drop onto the Milwaukee Avenue neighborhood greenway, and roll past Harmon Park before crossing the pedestrian wooden footbridge over Mirror Pond straight into Drake Park.

This is becoming an increasingly safe and comfortable east-to-west route to the center of Bend. Starting at Hollinshead Park, it weaves through quiet neighborhood greenways along Seward Ave and 6th St before utilizing the Olney bike corridor. It finishes with a tranquil, car-free stretch along the Deschutes River Trail into Drake Park, passing under the Newport Avenue bridge.

Spanning from one of Bend’s newest park gems in the far south directly to the heart of downtown, this route offers a smooth, stress-free link for Southeast residents heading to Drake Park. By sticking to quiet neighborhood greenways, multi-use paths, and designated crossings, you can skip heavy arterial traffic along 3rd Street and 15th Street and coast directly to the grass at Mirror Pond.

A continuous, relatively flat 5.8-mile connection stretching from central Bend to far Northeast Bend. It utilizes neighborhood greenways and low-stress connectors to connects between Drake park and the mountain bike skills course, skate park, and trails at Rockridge Park.
