Happy new year! As 2023 comes to a close, I invite you to reflect on the great strides Bend has made in becoming a more livable and bikeable community. We also want to celebrate our ten-year anniversary as a non-profit organization! Please find details on our celebration below and read the next installment of our favorite routes in town. We are looking for new board members in 2024. Please fill out the application to apply for the Bend Bikes Board.
Our Favorite Bike Routes
This route connects Drake Park to Pilot Butte State Park using current road infrastructure. This route will become much easier soon when the Hawthorne overcrossing is built over the railroad and Highway 97 but in the meantime, here is our route from Drake Park to Pilot Butte!
This is the latest installment in the, “Our Favorite Bike Routes” series which will run intermittently as you, our readers, submit your favorite ways to bike from place to place in Bend. Send descriptions of your favorite bike routes to us at [email protected] with “Favorite Route” in the subject line and we will consider them.
