Save the date! Our annual Holiday Lights Ride is December 2nd @ 6:30pm. We’ll meet up inside at the Bend Senior Center (1600 SE Reed Market Road, Bend) for an evening full of fun: a ride, food and drinks, and a raffle.
Our tour will be a leisurely, family-friendly ride along part of the Larkspur Trail, one of Bend’s best kept secrets: a 4 mile off-street trail that runs north/south on Bend’s east side. Conditions will dictate how far we go along the trail; last year, there was a little bit of snow 😉

The Larkspur Neighborhood Association will be helping to spread the word with door-to-door requests of residents who border the trail to decorate their backyards and help light up the Larkspur Trail during the month of December.
After the ride, we’ll gather back up inside at the Senior Center for food and drink from Whole Foods Market Bend, beer from Deschutes Brewery, and a raffle. Our business supporters have really come through with donated prizes from Bend Electric Bikes, Cairn, Hydroflask, Primal Cuts as well as a grand prize of a $150 gift certificate from Bend Velo to go towards a J.Livingston bike build.
The event is both a celebration of the year that was and a fundraiser for the year that will be. We simply could NOT pursue our mission of getting more people on bikes in Bend for everyday riding if it was not for financial support. As a small thank you for the support, all current 2016 members will receive one raffle ticket. Renewing or new members (either online or at the event) at the $20 Supporter level can elect to receive a raffle ticket plus one drink ticket OR your choice of a Bend Bikes hat or t-shirt while supplies last.
