Many thanks to Craig Randleman for organizing the Bend edition of the Ride of Silence this year. It’s an international event meant to allow us a chance to show respect for, and honor the lives of those who have been killed or injured while riding a bicycle. The no-host ride generally has the ethos of going at a slow pace, following the rules of the road with participants remaining silent during the ride.
Meetup in the parking lot in front of the Bend La Pine School District main offices at 520 NW Wall Street in Bend @ 6pm on May 16th.
Randleman has picked a mostly flat, 2.5 mile loop which you can find on the Map My Ride site.
We encourage any and all to attend this community ride.
