2018 Holiday Lights Ride

The 2018 Holiday Lights Ride is gonna be a special evening of fun for the whole family on Saturday, December 8th at 5:45pm.

The evening starts at the Bend Senior Center and heads off on our tour of the Larkspur Trail. Decorate your bicycle to get into the holiday spirit while you cruise along this off-street path on Bend’s eastside. We’ll have two ride options available: a 1.3 mile family-friendly ride, and a longer 3.9 mile ride. After the ride, we’ll meet back at the Senior Center for snacks, hot cocoa and pie courtesy of Whole Foods, as well as adult drinks from Cascades Lakes Brewing.

You’ll want to stick around for our raffle (the event is a benefit for Bend Bikes after all), and Velo Sprints. If you’ve never seen head-to-head stationary sprint racing, you won’t want to miss this.  Word on the street is that a few Bend City Councilors might race head-to-head.

How Are You Getting There?

If you’re driving to the event, why not try carpooling with others who might be going too? Go to www.drivelessconnect.com and login to (or create) your account. Click on “Ride Match” in the top menu, and select “View Events.” You’ll see the Holiday Lights Ride listed. Click on the ‘Add Trip to Event’ button and fill-in the form as a carpool request. It’s that easy!
